Lyle started pin striping in the 50's, during its heyday, defining a craze that continues to this very day. Flames, wood graining, gold leaf, and other adornments are the trademark of the style Fisk pioneered, and many imitate. Fisk has done pin striping on everything from beach bikes to race cars to racing airplanes. According to his mother, nothing is safe, neither washing machine nor refrigerator. All is fair game for Fisk. Typically thousands of Fisk-adorned cars are on display at any given time at automotive shows, including the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas.
